Check out our FAQs for the answers to our most common questions.

Where exactly are you located?

We are about an hour and 20 mins from Melbourne, on the Bellarine Peninsula. The park is set amongst farming land but a hop and a skip from about 6 or 7 townships including Ocean Grove, Queenscliff, Barwon Heads, Portarlington and Point Lonsdale. So good.

Should I pack the kids’ bikes?

Definitely! We know they are a pain to pack but if you can, it’s worth it. It’s a really big park (30 acres) and it’s how they get around. Don’t forget their helmets too.

Do you have a shop onsite?

Nope. We have the essentials – think coffee, drinks, ice and icecreams (they’re essential right?) but a supermarket is 4 minutes away and easy!

Are the units fully self contained? What else do I need to think of?

The units have all the gear – every utensil you need to cook, all the linen you need to sleep and the things you need to sit on and relax! The only thing you need to remember is to pack beach towels for the pool.

Can we have visitors come and say hello?

Yep, for sure! They just need to park in the visitor carpark and come and say hi at Reception so that we can give them a map and show them where you are. Day visitor fees are $10 per child (aged 2 and over) adults are free! Your visitors can swing past Reception and pay or we can pop them on to your account.

Are we allowed to have fires / do you have firepits available?

Nawww, we would love to say yes but when we first built this place, it was part of our permit restrictions and we’re not allowed – sorry.

What time are we allowed to arrive and when do we need to leave?

You can get here from 2pm for Units and Safari Tents and 12pm for Powered Sites. Departure time is 10am….. but if you want to mooch around, if we have one available, late checkout is $30 (sites) and $50 (units) & you can stick around until 3pm.

What time is quiet time at your Park?

At BIG4 Bellarine after 10pm is quiet time – just so everybody is happy 🙂

Do you have free WIFI

Just a heads up that the WiFi here is horrible – it drives us mad! It’s a good idea to come prepared with your favourite TV series, movies or games all downloaded and good to go.

Are we allowed to bring E-Scooters?

E-Scooters are super fun but too fast for us! You need to leave these at home – they’ll miss you but be excited when you get back!

The Best Caravan Park!
"This was the best caravan park we have stayed in since leaving Darwin. Huge space to park van, great gym and huge indoor pool. The facilities were spacey, spotless and staff all super friendly. Would be a wonderful spot for families and their children. So much for them to do and be entertained."
