School GROUPS
There are ridiculous amounts of activities and service opportunities in and around the Bellarine Peninsula. Some schools and groups like to organise their own plan but if you prefer to outsource your itinerary, many schools use Geelong Adventure Specialists (GAS) and also Infuse Travel who specialise in adventure tourism and outdoor education.
Smack bang in the middle of the Bellarine Peninsula, school groups are ideally situated to explore the Peninsula. Within a 10km radius, you can access the surf beaches of Ocean Grove (5km), the fabulous eateries and ocean views at Point Lonsdale (6km), the river mouth at Barwon Heads (8km), the famous markets of Queenscliff (9km) or the history of the quaint township of Drysdale (10km).
You can jump on a ferry over to Sorrento, or organise buses to get you to where you are going – Geelong, Torquay, Anglesea and Lorne have been popular with schools who have active schedules.

Providing essential items to vulnerable babies and children from Victoria’s most at-risk families.
Your students will learn about the essential items needed to care for babies and children in the critical early years by helping to:
- Fix and clean essential items such as prams, car seats and high chairs

Powered Sites
The sites at BIG4 Bellarine are truly luxurious in size. Measuring 12 x 14 metres, campers and caravanners alike, are afforded the flexibility of being able to set up varying configurations depending on what suits best at the time – sun direction, a little bit of extra privacy, wind conditions or maximising time with family and friends. Based on the European model of camping, beautiful hedges separate each site and present manicured grass underfoot.
Unit Accomodation
All units are fully self-contained which means you can cook a full dinner or choose not to as the case may be! All beds are beautifully made-up and fresh white towels await. Don’t forget to bring your towel for the indoor heated swimming pool!
3 Bedroom Unit (Sleeps 6)
The 3 bedroom units are ace. The island bench creates an informal eating option while the L-shaped kitchen ensures supreme functionality. The dishwasher makes life that little bit easier. The main bedrooms have king size beds while just down the hallway, the second bedroom has two single beds and the 3rd bedroom has a single and a fold down bed.
2 Bedroom Unit (Sleeps 4)
The 2 bedroom units offer indoor and outdoor dining alternatives with a fabulous galley style kitchen from which to survey proceedings and prepare delicious food. The main bedrooms have king size beds while just across the living room; the 2nd bedroom has two single beds. All beds are beautifully made-up and fresh white towels await.
Vineyard Suites (Sleeps 2)
Your beautiful, open plan Vineyard suite features a king size bed, private deck area and double shower. The kitchenette allows flexibility by offering the essential cooking facilities (toaster, microwave and kettle) and bar fridge. These are perfect for teachers – a little bit of time out but close enough to keep an eye on important things!
Group Catering
Food trucks are super popular here but there are heaps of options. You can cook yourself, order in pizzas as a treat, get food trucks to roll in, or have the entire stay catered for.
There are GREAT caterers in the area, BIG4 Bellarine is spoilt by choice. Let us know your requirements and we can whip into action so that all the catering goes without a hitch:

You can always self-cater too – we have two indoor camp kitchens and all the units are fully self-contained. Some schools prefer to set up marquees (Surfcoast Hire are absolutely brilliant!) – and bring BBQs with them so that all the students can pitch in with the preparation and sit together for dinner.
